My name is Sebastian Richiano, I am from Argentina and have a degree in Geology (2006) of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the National University of La Plata, (Argentina), a PhD in Natural Sciences (2012) at the same university. I am a researcher of CONICET, working on sedimentology and ichnology of marine sequences of different geological ages. I am Professor at the National University of La Patagonia (Argentina). Between 2018 and 2023 I was the editor-in-chief of Latin American Journal of Sedimentology and Basin Analysis. Since 2024 I am Vice-president of the International Union of Quaternary Research (INQUA)
